Introduction :
Endoscopic ear surgery (EES) is a vastly developing approach for micro ear surgery and has changed the paradigm in ear surgery. West Java is the most populous province in Indonesia as it has 20% of the total of Indonesia’s population as its citizen with he incidence of chronic otitis media range from 4-8%.

Method:
EES was first formally introduced in Bandung, West Java capital, at the Otology Congress in 2014. The committee invited the international experts in EES who performed a live surgical demonstration. Follow-up workshops were sequentially held in office procedure setting in ear mannequin and in laboratory setting in human temporal bones. The surgical experience started in patients with simple tympanic membrane perforation. and we compare the myringoplasty procedure endoscopically and microscopically.

Result:
EES is superior in minimally invasive surgery but there is no difference in time consume.

Conclusion: Endoscopes make it possible in minimizing dissection of normal tissue leading to minimally invasive ear surgery and reduce the morbidity.  More and miscellaneous cases needed for better performance in EES.
