Dr. Metson practices otolaryngology at Massachusetts Eye and Ear in Boston. After completing his residency at UCLA, he moved to Boston to pursue a research fellowship at Harvard Medical School, where he now serves on the faculty as Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology. His research activities include the development of minimally-invasive techniques for sinus surgery, the advancement of computer navigational systems for sinus surgery, and the use of genomic testing to identify the genetic basis of sinusitis. Dr. Metson is Director of the Rhinology Fellowship Program at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. His book “The Harvard Medical School Guide to Healing Your Sinuses” was published by McGraw-Hill.
