Elaine Horn-Ranney, PhD is the Co-Founder and CEO of Tympanogen – a medical device company that develops ear, nose, and throat devices. She has led her team to win national and international accolades for Tympanogen’s disruptive eardrum repair technology and directs research projects aboard the International Space Station. Dr. Horn-Ranney earned her BSE and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University in New Orleans, and is passionate about improving healthcare through novel devices and simplified procedures. She serves on multiple boards, reviews grants for the National Institutes of Health, and is active in the entrepreneurial community of Virginia.
