Chin-Kuo Chen, MD, PhD, FICS is the head of the otologic department, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taoyuan, Taiwan. Currently, he is also the executive director, International College of Surgeons, Taiwan section and director of communication enhancement center, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan. His primary field of study and research focused on ear surgery and hearing loss. Dr. Chen is famous at his experience on endoscopic ear surgery (EES). He has been a member of IWGEES and PAWGEES. He was invited as a speaker/moderator at many major otologic conferences, such as world congress of EES, world congress of cholesteatoma, AAO, APSCI, world congress of ENT Endoscopy, Asia-Oceania ORL-HNS congress, international congress of ORL-HNS and so on. He has devoted his attention to EES and bimodal cochlear implant technique these years.
